@igazor :p I am trying to make my lovely Matthew stay in Isla Paradiso for a few days so he can scuba dive and collect the sea creatures, but I've ran into an issue. When I click on the houseboat I want him to stay at and hit the check button to play, nothing happens. I click the boat, click rent, click the check and then nothing. No spinning loading, nothing, and so I have to quit via task manager. I'm wondering if it's because when he left last time he left the houseboat in the middle of the ocean so it isn't at a port, and so maybe something has glitched with that one so I'm currently reloading and will try selecting a different one and see if it works or not. This is only the second time I've traveled to a non-WA world, but I have not messed with any of the settings or anything. Open to suggestions for what is going wrong and what to try. Edit: selecting a different lot does not work. Edit Two: removing the IP data from the save folded worked, but I'd like to not have to do that every time.

Even a world as messed up as the stock version of Isla Paradiso is should at least let your sim arrive and select a place to stay. Can't vouch for how playable it would be after that. Do you have Overwatch and ErrorTrap in play alongside of Traveler? If they (ErrorTrap in particular) are kicking up any script logs at the time of the attempted arrival, we would need to have them uploaded to us at NRaas to be able to help interpret them.But it could also just have been that one (now deleted) instance of the world that was for some reason refusing to cooperate.

I had that problem with my Big Game. I was sending a Sim from Sunlit Tides to Legacy Island III which is no longer working properly due to being played for too long and having had too many sims in it. It has memory issues. I had my graphics up to maximum (or close to) and the sims just couldn't arrive. After a brief panic I experimented and turned down my graphics to minimums all over and had another go. I sent my sim to Legacy Island III and this time he arrived safely. I then used him to grab a few households to take them to a more playable world. I had the little panic as I still have a heap of Sims in Legacy Island III that I want to keep in my Big Game and for a while I thought I wouldn't be able to retrieve them without going back to earlier saves and porting them in and then fixing up relationships, even if it would have been possible to fix the relationships given the number of sims involved.Now, whenever I send a Sim to Legacy Island III I make sure my graphics are down at minimums. So for me it was a memory issue. If there were no valid places to stay then yes, it is possible to get stuck on the arrival screen but that's because there wouldn't be any lot tags showing at all for the player to click upon in order to answer the question. It sounded to me like there was at least one valid choice there, it just wasn't working when it was selected.

Popping by to say this possibly could be an issue not related to Traveler but just the game having her usual diva attitude, because it sometimes happened to me without that mod when I wanted to move a sim through Edit Town. Nothing happens, exactly the way you describe it. Quiting the game and reopening it helps in those cases (could be IP related because I play there as well, but not 100% sure).

I had that problem with my Big Game. If you can't get to Isla Paradiso, and I'm having that problem with my Isla Paradiso Bunch videos now, you can send them to another world with dive lots in it.

I recently did a video people are finding helpful to build dive lots in other worlds. It is all done step by step so if you follow each step you will end up with a working dive lot in most worlds that have sufficiently deep salt water. The world I used in my video was Sunlit Tides.

@Karritz is correct, what is being described can be a result of resource usage overload during travel transitions. Usually what most of us see in such cases is a total failure to arrive, not being presented with lot tag buttons that don't work, but it stands to reason that can happen as well. So can the dreaded Error 12 upon trying to save when everything else does seem to work okay. It's always worth it to try again another way, after a fresh reload, with game options turned down, etc. when this happens even with the mods in play.

No errors thrown when ariving to IP, so maybe you're right that it was just that one.
Unfortunately, I will not know until he goes home and tries to go back again if it'll work or not. :|

That was my assumption too. I always keep a small house spare so I can get into it on arrival. Not having a place to stay wasn't the problem. For me the endless spinning started AFTER I chose that lot. I fixed the problem by reducing my graphics and relaunching the game and trying again.
