I have the CD Key from when I purchased both the Sims 3 and Sims 3 ambitions but not the discs because they recently got lost in a tornado so I downloaded the game and used my key and its still not letting me play! Is there anything I can do other than buy new copies.
Are you downloading from YOUR Origin account and using your key? In your Origin account when you click the small i on the icon is the key the same as you are trying to enter. You may have to contact EA customer support and get a new key. There may be a difference between a disc key and a digital download key. I recently discovered this little tid bit.
