What is your base game version right now ?

Thankyou! it took me a while but it worked!
The game launched and I reached as far as the load up screen where all the gameplay tips show up but then a little blue box came up saying "a serious error has occured with "Natalie.sims3" and it should restart the application. What do i do now?

Plz help, i got a new computer so i had to reinstall the sims, but when i finished reinstalling it came up with the base game incompatible error when i tried to play. I tried to install super patch but it just saying theres no base game installed, my game was disc version that i had to make digital through origin coz my disc got lost years ago. Someone plz help me, i really dont want to switch to playing sims 4 as i really dont like the things they changed.
How did you figure that out? I can’t launch the game to even see!
@TheDebinator30 What kind of install do you have? This issue is a bit old and shouldn't affect Origin-only installs (although it can certainly show up with discs). How to resolve it depends on how you installed in the first place.
