Best laptop out of these two?

Hi!

I've looked around in this forum quite a bit and have been able to find a couple laptops I think should be good for sims 3, but I'd love some feedback if they're good choices? I'm super bad at anything tech so any help is appreciated (I'm in Sweden so the offerings aren't always as broad). My goal would be to run Sims 3 + mods + cc + reshade fairly smoothly! And if it can handle sims 4 + mods + cc + reshade that would be a plus : )
Anywayyss, what does everyone think about these two? The Omen is around 400 USD more expensive than the Pavilion so I'm also curious if the price difference is justifiable for me?

HP Pavilion Laptop 15-eh3005no  - 800USD

AMD Rysen 7 7730U

16 GB memory

512 GB SSD

AMD Radeon™ -grafik

or

HP Omen 16-wd0829no - 1200 USD

Intel® Core™ i7-13620H processor

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 grafik

16 GB DDR5 RAM, 512 GB SSD

or

Lenovo LOQ 15 - 900 USD

Intel® Core™ i5-12450H-processor

16GB DDR5 RAM, 512GB M.2 PCIe SSD

GeForce RTX 4050

  • @hannaimarocko  I would definitely cross the first one off the list.  If your budget were more limited, it might be a viable option, but it could also struggle to run Pets and Seasons.  As it is, the upgrade to a much faster gaming computer is well worth the relatively small price increase.

The second option is technically a better laptop than the third, but the improvements will make no difference at all to Sims 3.  So it's not worth the higher price.  If you like the third, go ahead and get it.  I do want to say it's overkill for Sims 3, but that's not a bad thing, especially if you want to use Reshade and enjoy higher framerates.

Both the second and third laptops would likely need help to get Sims 3 running at all.  But it's simple enough to apply a user-made patch or one of the other available workarounds:
