How do I lower the graphic settings? Sorry I am not computer savy.

But wouldn't it have mattered from the start of playing the game if I needed to lower the detail? My concern is that it was working perfectly up until a few days ago. Is it possible that my video card is over-heating?
See, every time you add a new patch or EP, the game gets added more content which needs more power. Not only the EPs grow but the base game does too.
You can download a program to check how the temperature of your computer is doing. It's always a possibility, especially on laptops.
