- No matter how true, the fact still remains -- They just don't seem to care to effin fix it.

The fact that is automatically registerd is the freaking problem! No need to be pissy when the fact is that I can't access "My page"! It stops me physically from acccessing "My page" of the website perpetually making me register my Sims 3 code. It was bought on Origin and the simple fact is that Auto-registration is the freaking problem because it blocks accesss to the user of his own account! Stop **bleep**ing patronizing us like we can't read or use computers.

Okay, sorry!! Guys please, I'm not trying to patronize you here, I'm trying to understand and I'm failing miserably because there are so many posts on the same issue which in my eyes is already fixed.
I'm really sorry guys, okay. I just took out some of my frustration on you and I'm sorry. You've every right to be angry - I'm sorry

My games automatically regstered through Origin and I got my downloads. I still have the My Page glitch that doesn't show my icons but that is irrelevent. My issue is that although they are registered etc I still get prompts in my sims launcher that says register your game. At the bottom of my log in on the game menu it says register your game. When I go in to the in game store it says register your game. Technically I am registered but my game is not recognizing as registered.
I'm having exactly the same problem.

Like everyone else here, I too am having issues with registering games downloaded from Origin. Yes, I did read their help and saw that it automatically downloads and I understand that there's a bug so the pretty icon sometimes won't show up, however when I try to download the reward set in the Sims 3 Store, it tells me I have not registered World Adventures and when I try to register it, it tells me the code has already been used. So.....yeah. That kinda sucks. Any ideas?
same issue. Is dissapointing do an effort to get a legal Pc game (at least downloaded from the EA client) and find that the code is invalid OR USED FOR OTHER PEOPLE... maybe the next time I will going to download a pirated copy and get a keygen or some stuff like that... LOL
HOW TO FIX THE SERIAL ISSUE:
Enter your origin mail, (the one with the sims 3 game registered) etc.
1: Do the new sims3 account registration steps, and Erase the Serial auto typed. and continue without a Serial. if the account was created sucessfully, the keys should be there. (obviously for new users)
2: redeem your free points on the Account Details section.
3: be happy.
I did as furrydumb suggested. I left the serial code area blank. I then went to My Page (which I could now access,) and, lo and behold, the Sims 3 I had just bought was listed as a registered game.
Unfortunately, my attempts to get stuff through the Exchange throws up an error message saying I have to register a Sims game, so apparently the memo that I'm registered hasn't reached The Exchange yet. It's the weekend... I'll see if things clear up as the work-week starts up.

I used the EA Live Chat help. Had to wait over an hour to talk to customer service, who fixed the issue in under 5 minutes. World Adventures showed up in my game list, the 1000 bonus points were added to my account, and I was able to download the bonus content as well. I highly suggest that you get in touch with customer service. Just be prepared to wait. Have your origin account email and your serial number ready. Good luck!

I'm having the same problem trackrick is having. I understand that since I bought the Sims 3 via Origin, my game is automatically registered with the Sims 3 website but I'm unable to get anything through the Exchange, which is why I paid for the game in the first place!
