Cannot click on my mailbox ever

I've been searching for this question for days now and have come across similar issues but not quite the same. My problem is that I remember clicking "Never" to something that said something along the lines of paying bills. I can only imagine that it asked how I want to pay my bills and because I just click through those and hit "Never" for everything, I only caught a glimpse of it.

But anyways now I cannot click my mailbox or pay my bills and the repo man is coming. There has to be an option somewhere to turn bill paying back on, right?

    That was probably just a 'lesson' which the games offers you to understand stuff better.

    You can't get rid of bills unless you either use a mod for it or have a live time award.

    Try if the following works

    1. Save your game under a new name to have a backup
    2. go to edit town
    3. Open cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    4. type moveobjects on
    5. sell the mailbox
    6. Open cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    7. type testingcheatsenabled true
    8. Open cheat console with ctl-shift-c
    9. type buydebug on
    10. You should now see a question mark on the buy menu. Click on it to find all kinds of extra stuff
    11. Click on the misc tab and search for the mail box.
    12. Place a new mail box
    13. Switch to live mode and see if it now works
    14. Let us know if it does.
