Choose Household, Start Playing now won't work.

u7fsosndm1jl​  Sorry for the late reply; I was away from the forums for a while.  If you still need help with this, please create a new account on your Mac, and don't link it to your Apple ID (you can skip that step).  Then try to play using that account.  You may need to repair the game in the EA App first (Sims 3 > Manage > Repair) in order for it to open.
