Custom content says installed in the downloads launcher but is not in create a sim

I bought some custom content from the sims 3 store, but one of the items I bought (a top) only says installed in the downloads launcher. All of the other things that I have bought are also custom content and in the downloads launcher it says next to them, installed to create a sim. How do I get the top to install to create a sim as well. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and redownloading the item from the store but the same thing happens. Any help would be appreciated.

I fixed the issue myself! Decided as a last resort to find out what was going with my game to just google the item, and it turns out the shirt (it's from the Sims 3 Store, and it's called Carol's Tanktop in case anyone reading this has this problem) only works on adult sims and not young adults. Apparently this is fixed with a patch, and although it's a little irritating as I would like to use it on young adults, I'm glad to know that the item actually did install as it should.

to get to create a sim if your already playing a game send the sim to a dresser click on it-option plan outfit this will take you to CAS ( create a sim) to find the outfit and change it the one you want if palying a new game and just starting to make your sims CAH (create a houshold) is where the clothing will be

The top does not show up in create a sim. All of my other custom content does. The shirt says installed in the downloads launcher but it should say installed to create a sim. It has not installed to create a sim but my game says that it is installed.
