Hello, I can't see/use my custom content downloaded from the store when I play. It says that the Worlds are downloaded and installed and I already checked and unchecked the "run without custom content" field but it doesn't change. I have bought Monte Vista, Hidden Springs, Sunlit Tides and Lunar Lakes but can't play with them. PLEASE HELP!
PS: my computer is a macbook
Do they not appear in the list ? Does other stuff show up ?
I'm having the same exact problem, and not only is it the stuff that I knew was custom content from the exchange, but also content from the store like Midnight Hollow. Although, the things I have from expansion packs are still there. I had no idea that stuff from the Sims 3 Store is also considered custom content... so I checked the "Run without custom content" box. It's not checked now, like it unchecked itself or something, but the content is still missing from my actual game. And when I go into buy mode etc. It's not there. I can still play with my families in Midnight Hollow, but all of the hairstyles, doors, railings, etc. Have been replaced. INCLUDING the Premium Content that came with it. I haven't checked the stuff from my Brunch at the Old Mill set, but I'm pretty sure that it's gone as well.
I'm sorry, but that doesn't quite help. I (and possibly others) just would like to know how to get our store content back after we checked the box. Does it really mean "Permanently replace downloaded objects"? Including STORE CONTENT?
