EA App Won't Launch/Start the Sims 3

Hi all! 

I hope I've come to the right place!

So, I've always had my fair share of Origin; Now the EA app, screwing over my game or crashing my PC but it's never done this.

For context, my PC is a bit old, but it was running smoother thanks to mods (Praise the almighty LazyDuchess for her game-fixing mods!). However, after a moment of both frustration and genuine desperation (My previous company screwed with my PC before retrenching me, so I was dealing with a lot of unneeded junk and hassle that they kept refusing to remove), I fully reset my PC making sure it was scraped clean, before reinstalling everything but by bit. I also wanted the game to run as smoothly as possible, thus spending weeks between contract work fully modding my game to an optimal level. 

At first, everything was fine until about 4 months ago when my chronic illness suddenly left me bedridden. At first, I thought it wasn't so bad until I fell asleep one night and woke in hospital 3 days later. I don't know what I did but that night my computer was acting up in the middle of modding and testing and I don't think I shut it down properly. I vaguely remember trying to install store content when the installer called and I went into a dangerous situation medically. The nurses told me later on that they shut down my PC and packed it away, while I was wheeled off for an emergency intervention surgery. 

After this, the EA app wouldn't open The Sims 3 launcher. It's been a month since then and even after trying to clean uninstall the games and the app it still won't launch. I backed up the mods to a hard drive before deleting everything but that hasn't worked either. I'm sort of at my breaking point. If anyone can help that would be amazing
