Althe101 It looks like you have a disc install, and one with a very early patch level, one that wouldn't support later expansion and stuff packs. So you'll need to run the Super Patch to manually patch the game to 1.67, the up-to-date version for disc installs. The launcher doesn't always do a thorough job of patching on its own, as you can see.
This is a direct download link to the Super Patch. Some browsers may try to block it, as its URL starts with http rather than https, but you can see from the address that it points directly to EA servers, so it's safe.

Run the Super Patch, point it at the game (TS3W.exe if it asks), and then try again to play.
