Every time I try to play my Sims 3 Nightlife extension a grey box pops up and says "Unable to start game service initialization failed (0x024e424f)"

I've tried going into control panel to remove/uninstall it to try and re-install it but when I do I get another grey box that says "An error (-5005 : 0x80070002) has occurred while running the setup....
