Expansion pack not showing in game

Hi, i've downloaded 3 expansion packs today (Seasons, Generations and Supernatural). The first problem accrued when I opened the game and Moonlight Falls wasn't showing as a world option. I went into the game and opened both CAS and build mode and every object, clothing and hair was in-game but couldn't be placed or "worn". I've made some in-game screenshots to show how it looks. Also wishes related to the expansions for example: 'Meet a occult sim.' doesn't have a image like all the other wishes.
I play on MAC, does that have to do with this problem maybe?

  • MiraMariaStr  Just in case this has to do with your user data, please move the entire Sims 3 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  If it copies instead of moving, or you get an error when trying to move it, stop here and let me know.

Otherwise, launch the game and see whether the pack items are visible again.  If they are, great; you can quit and move your saves and anything else you want to keep from the old Sims 3 folder to the new one.

If this doesn't help, let me know where the game itself is installed.  That would be where you found the Sims 3 Packs folder, but you can also see the location in the EA App, under Sims 3 > Manage > View properties.

And yes, I understand that all your packs are affected, but I wanted you to test Supernatural first because it's the only one of the three that comes with its own world and therefore the only one for which you could have confirmed that all the symptoms were addressed.  Had my suggestion worked, you could have repeated it for the other two expansions, but that's a moot point now.

I've followed all the steps and it still shows the same way as before. Not just Supernatural but all three expansion packs don't show in my game. Is there a other way I could fix this?

Thank you for responding, I will try it but these are all things that I've done and didn't work :(

  • MiraMariaStr  Try removing and reinstalling the pack.  Make sure the EA App is closed.  Open the folder where you've installed Sims 3 (Applications > EA Games by default), and you'll see a "The Sims 3 Packs" folder as well.  Remove the EP07 folder, which is Supernatural.  Open the EA App and clear its cache.

Then repair the game (Sims 3 > Manage > Repair), reinstall Supernatural, and test the content in a new save.  Let me know what content, if any, is still missing.
