Expansion packs not working

I currently downloaded games through instant gaming. When trying to play the expansion packs i just bought i keep getting an error message that is saying i dont have the expansion packs downloaded. They have been downloaded thru EA..

keep in mind that i did try to install them codes through the sims 3 website and thats still not working. its saying the serial number is wrong
