Expansion packs (various) - "update failed" error during install

Hello, 

I am a MAC user and I have every SP/EP installed up to Outdoor Living Stuff. I hadn't used it for a few weeks, and then when I logged into my sim account on Origin and started the game up, it asked me if I would like to install a software update. I clicked OK and it started updating.

The problem is, it won't finish updating. It stops when the little loader has gotten about a quarter into downloading and just stops without any warning. I can still play the Sims 3 but I can't log in while playing the game becasue it says I need to install this update. 

Please help?
