"forgetting" people permanently

I want my sim to move to a new town and not remember anyone in their current town, save for a few select people.  I have the Traveler.package, so theoretically I should be able to do this.  So I use MC>intermediate>long term relationship by category to change all the relationships to stranger (again, except for a few select people).  When I do that, they no longer show up in the relationships panel, as one would expect.  However, when the sim moves to the new town, all the people that my sim forgot about show up again in the relationships panel (they show up as greyed out because they are in a different town)!  Is there a way to forget these people permanently when the sim moves, without simply getting rid of the traveler package and thereby losing all relationships?

  • @ashbymcdonald  You could install NRaas RelationshipPanel and ctrl-click on a given portrait to remove the sim from your sim's relationship panel.  This would work before or after the move.

Or, if you'd like your select list of sims to all move to the new town, you could use NRaas Porter to pack the sims you want and then place them in a new save.  It's like placing a saved household from the library, except you can pack a larger number of sims, and when you unpack them in the new save, they'll go back to being in their own households.
