after clicking the "launch game" button on launcher my game will crash. It is just being closed down and no screen comes up. I a having issues with downloading content as well from the official game site since my game started not loading. I updated everything....PLEASE PLEASE help. I am at a loss on what to do. The games played fine before.

You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
Does the launcher itself crash or the game ? Do you get any error messages ?
