    @kameng-matthew  Any standard mod, as in, a .package file that goes into Mods > Packages, works equally well with the Mac and Windows versions of Sims 3.  For helpful mods in general, start here:

    I would suggest running an NRaas MasterController reset on your world, both for the overall health of your save and to see whether it clears up the roommate service issue and/or allows you to cancel the service over the phone without causing a crash.

    For other mods, it would help to know what you're trying to accomplish specifically.  There are a lot of options that work great for one particular purpose but wouldn't necessarily be relevant to your play style.

I tried it, but it doesn't seem to help, and the problem remains unsolved. However, it doesn't affect my gameplay, so I'll just leave it as is. Thank you for your response. Also, could you let me know where I can download mods for Mac? And, do you have any recommended mods for Mac that you could introduce to me?

    @puzzlezaddict Thank you for your kind recommendation.

    I have reinstalled the whole game and stated a new gameplay, with recommended mods, everything now seems okay and the game is loading very soomth.
