What do you mean by: "I had to reset my lap top the other day."
A Factory Reset? A Recovery? A System Restore? A Repair? A Reformat?
That looks like your GPU is running off a default M'sft graphics driver. It sounds like you might need to re-install your motherboard and/or device drivers. Might need to re-update the important system software, too, like BIOS, Windows, DirectX, .NET, etc. The mobo drivers should be obtained from your PC system manufacturer through their updater application. They often tweak the drivers from the various device manufacturers to work best in their specific branded makes/models. So, getting a device driver from, say, ATI isn't always a good choice.
To check if any of that is necessary, post up a dxdiag as crinrict suggested.
*You appear to be running a 64-bit OS, so make sure that you run the 64-bit dxdiag. Just start the dxdiag, wait a moment for it to scan the environment, it'll detect your 64-bit system and offer a choice to run a proper 64-bit dxdiag. If you run the initial 32-bit dxdiag on a 64-bit system it spits back missing/incorrect data.
