HELP IN EDIT TOWN

I NEED TO BUILD THIS WORLD THAT I DOWNLOADED AND I NEED SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, FIRE STATIONS, AND THINGS LIKE THAT BUT THEY ARE NOT IN EDIT TOWN. I WENT TO EDIT TOWN WHERE ALL OF THE THINGS ARE BUT ONLY PARKS, AND DIFFERENT HOUSES, NONE OF THE CORE THINGS THAT ARE IN A SIMS TOWN. WHERE CAN I FIND THEM? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!

are you trying to put the builing on a lot or are you looking in the library ?
If you mean in the library, open one of the EA worlds and save the lots you like to the library, then reopen your world and they'll be there to place.

You mean you're missing the rabbitholes ?
Is the lot you're trying to build on set to community lot ?

All of the lots are set to community lots. I don't have the schools, hospitals, and all the core buildings of the typical sims 3 town. How can I build my city if I can't find the buildings to put on the lots? I need to know where to find the buildings because all I have is a bunch of parks.

What are rabbitholes in sims 3?

Rabbitholes are the buildings in town like the hospital and school that your sims can enter into but you, as a player, never see the inside of.
If you don't have these buildings then just go to the Sim exchange on the official website and download them - they're all there and free 🙂

what is the official site? I went on the exchange and I did not see these buildings at all. I looked in lots and only seen houses that sim players made. Please send more info. Thanks

Just go here: http://www.thesims3.com/exchange/lots
And in the little menu on the left fill in the info for the lot you want (i.e. type as Commerical not residential)
