I have the serial number, but it only has 16 letters/numbers instead of 20 and it won't redeem on the sims 3 website. I have the monte vista/hidden springs bundle for reference.

Sign in with your EA ID, click Redeem a Code at the bottom of the page, and add your code. You can then download your content from your purchase history (Store > My Store Account > Purchase History).

That doesn´t work. When I try that it says: Sorry, this code can't be redeemed here. Please go to https://store.thesims3.com/myAccount.html and enter your code there.
And when I go to the sims 3 official site to redeem my code, the site doesn´t work.
