Fourth, she is using office outlook to read the Resource.cfg file. Why she's assigned that program to read the file is beyond me. If she's running Windows then Notepad would have been assigned to read the (.cfg) file extension by default. She will need to reassign the program that reads that file type to Notepad. She's also got another Resource.cfg file in the Packages folder being read by office outlook.
She has a lot of sliders and I'm not sure if they're updated or not. Another simmer had the same issue, however I don't use them. (.sim) files do not go in the Mods folder, those belong in the SavedSims folder. (.sims3pack) files go in the Downloads folder. She's downloading and extracting (it appears) in her game data folders which I tell people over and over not to do. Download and Extract elsewhere, then cut/paste only the (.package) files.
She also needs to run Dashboard to see if any of her (.package) files are corrupt or conflict.
Her folders are a mess and look nothing like what I have in the instructions.
Nevermind XD she got it. Thank you so much :) And she didn't assign outlook to read it really. I downloaded it for her and since my comp made notepad read it automatically I kind of ignored that when I was getting it on hers. Yeah I know you shouldn't upload them right into the game folder but I'm too lazy to move them so I just extract them to there and delete the unnecessary crap. lol
EDIT: Heh, sorry if I'm reading this wrong but you're being a little mean XD lol thanks for the help...My CC works just fine...I have all of my files organized and merged...I don't need the help. I was just screwed up when working on another computer. And I told her to organize her folders when she had time...that's why it's a mess right now. She's just begun. I've never downloaded actual sims so I didn't know that those went elsewhere...but I know how to download CC...
