I have been having this problem for about two months now, and I am getting really really frrustrated. Everytime I open the launcher, I get this script error. Whether I click yes or no doesn't seem to make a difference. I go to play the game, it loads normally, and I'll start playing, but then the game crashes after anywhere between 10 min to an hour. It is super stressful, because I'll start thinking "Oh maybe it'll be good this time," and then it still crashes. Nothing I seem to do helps. I've gone through and made sure every program you listed was up to date, both Chrome and IE are up to date, I've cleared IE's cache. I've tried checking the launcher for game updates and it tells me my game is up to date. I am getting really stressed because I have not been able to play Sims 3 for almost two months, and I do not know what to do to fix this.
No one else has mentioned the crashing problem, though I'm fairly certain it's not something else because the game started the crashing when it started showing me that script error.
The sponserpay error has nothing to do with your game crashing. It's an error on EA's side and there's nothing you can do.
It's best if you made your own thread for the crashing.
Have you tried all the stuff here: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/FAQ-Game-Crashes-CTD/td-p/656/ ?
- What is your operating system
- At what point does your game crash ? Any regularities ?
- How long can you usually play ?
- Which EP/SPs do you have installed ?
- Are you using custom content and mods in your game ?
- It's also good to include your DxDiag: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-3/HOW-TO-DxDiag-for-Sims-3-PC-Only/td-p/1049584
