I got robbed then robber left and my alarms are still going off!

On the Sims 3 ~ Disk in my laptop Island Paradise~a burglar came to my house, the alarms went off. the police came and glitched out by not leaving my house. I then used the cheat resetsim* the police then went away.  after the police had gone the alarms were still going off. I then tried to go into edit town but it said: Edit Town cannot be entered when you are being robbed! There's a burglar in the area! I looked around and there was no burglar. I then saved my game and left it until the morning. When  i went on it this morning and tried the alarms were still going off and i was unable to edit. So i then made a new house on an empty lot, it took me three hours to make, i then realized i could not move into the house, when i went into my sims Iphone, Real Estate and Travel Services..., move but in move everything was grayed out!  when i hover my mouse over one of the three options it says: Your household is not allowed to move at this time. i wanted to put my house onto the exchange but i am now unable to.
