I have Dragon Valley installed but It won't show up in my world tab. Help ?
I have tried to see if it was a file issue but I can't find any files. I even tried to uninstall it and try it again. I was downloading it from the sims luncher, on origin it says I don't own it. could that be the issue? will I have to buy it from origin instead? please help
@Ericagraves34 It's normal for Dragon Valley not to show as owned in Origin, and buying it again won't change that. It's always been necessary to install through the Sims 3 Store site instead.
Please try installing DV into a clean Sims 3 folder. Move the entire folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, open the launcher to spawn a clean folder, download DV (and nothing else), and install it. Let me know whether it shows up in-game, and also whether it would be a pain to reinstall all your other store content. There are a couple different approaches to combining new and old content: the straightforward way is to reinstall everything, but if that would take too long, there's a slightly more complicated shortcut.
