I WANT MY MONEY BACK.... NOW!

In a different thread I indicated I was having issues with downloading The Sims 3 game. I started the download yesterday (26 February) at 3:44 PM and as of right this moment it has only reached 49%!!!! This is totally unacceptable. PLUS, the Origin software that has to be downloaded to make the game work, which is totally stupid, is causing so many issues with my computer. It loads programs all by themselves; is making my computer run so slow that it takes forever to load even the internet WHEN Origin isn't even running. There has to be a better way then this! So, two things here, either someone gives me my money back and I will uninstall this Origin software or someone send me the DVD version of the game, which I understand doesn't take Origin to work. Is that correct? I used to have The Sims 2 Deluxe and I never, I repeat, never had these issues. Your software should not make my computer have issues and it shouldn't take over 30 hours to download The Sims 3 game! I expect someone with authority to respond to this thread and take responsibility for these issues immediately!!!! I might as well have just rolled up my $30 and set it on fire! I am so upset at this point that if I could, I would.....you really don't want to know what I would do. Just correct this issue immediately! My money back or the game on DVD. It is simple and easy. BUT, I must say, if the DVD requires the Origin software to run, forget it and just give me my money back!

    "Someone with authority" - is not going to answer. The HQ is about users helping users, we do the best we can. If you want to scream and yell at EA, try contacting them yourself: https://help.ea.com/contact-us

    I have now un-installed the Origin software and my computer is running like normal once again.  So you folks have two options:  1) return my money or 2) send me the game on DVD (only if it is a stand along product and doesn't require Origin to operate)!!!!!

    I would suggest that someone with authority respond to this thread!

    I am going to my bank today to see what recourse I have with getting my money back!
