    This issue has been reported, but there may not be anyone around to look into it until the new year.  In the interim, it would be useful to gather information so whoever does pick it up can get right to work.

    So for anyone currently unable to redeem a code for a Sims 3 Store world, I have a few questions:

    • Did you buy the world through the EA App or from its website?  (example)
    • Did you first attempt to redeem the code through the EA App, or did you only ever try through the Sims 3 Store site?
    • Did you buy any Store worlds that you could in fact register successfully?
    • Can you login to store.thesims3.com successfully?
    • What country are you in, and are you using a VPN?


    Note:  This issue is only about standalone Sims 3 Store worlds that can be bought with cash: Barnacle Bay, Monte Vista, Dragon Valley, Roaring Heights, and the Worlds bundle that includes MV and Hidden Springs.  If you're having trouble with an expansion or stuff pack, please create your own thread in this forum listing the content that doesn't work and where you bought it.

Hi!

Today we encountered (again) a problem trying to get the Roaring heights expansion.

We bought the expansion in the EA store and got a code to redeem via mail. We redeemed the code on thesims3.com in our account but the expansion does afterwards neither show up in the purchase history nor in the game launcher. 

We encountered the exact same problem a couple of month ago trying play the dragon valley expansions.

We bought both expansions and can't play any of these two right now!

Could you please provide help with this?

    Hi,
    I’ve had the same issue again recently. I contacted EA Customer Service yesterday after purchasing the Monte Vista pack, and they confirmed they are aware of a worldwide problem with redeemed codes not appearing in purchase history or the game launcher.

    They said they’re currently working on fixing it, but unfortunately couldn’t give an exact timeframe. They advised that once resolved, an update may appear either in the EA App or directly on the account.

    This is affecting Roaring Heights and Dragon Valley for me as well, so you’re definitely not alone.

    Hope this helps, and fingers crossed EA fixes it soon.
