Issue redeeming Sims 3 World codes

It’s an issue with the codes themselves on EA’s end, I contacted support several days ago about the same issue and was told to just keep an eye on out on here for when it seems to be fixed. So… there’s someone working on fixing it, presumably.

It might end up with all of us needing to contact EA for a refund, it might not. I decided I’d just make sure to keep my email receipt saved and wait it out for a bit — it’s not like re-purchasing is exactly a workable option right now, anyway. If they aren’t able to fix the existing codes/reissue working ones or something, I might demand my refund in like… equivalent SimPoints with which to purchase the two worlds straight from thesims3.com store, because I do not care enough to pay for the Worlds Bundle when it isn’t half-price.

Hey, I purchased The Sims 3 expansions - Dragon Valley, Worlds Bundle in the EA App. In the EA App, I get a message saying I need to activate the codes on the The Sims 3 website. When I try to do this, I get errors—either the code is incorrect, or it loads as if the expansions were added, but nothing actually gets added. I don’t know what to do anymore. Has anyone experienced something similar?

Yes, this is happening to a bunch of us with no known fix or actual help from EA support. Someone mentioned in another thread that the best option is probably to reach out to support to make them aware of the scale of the problem and then just hold tight. There's been speculation that it's being worked on, but as of right now there's no fix. At this point all we can do is wait for something to happen or reach out and hopefully get a refund in the future, though a lot of us have gotten our cases closed without recieving any help :(

I purchased Monte Vista and Aurora Skies through the EA app. They show as owned in the EA app, but they don't show up in The Sims 3, the Launcher, or in my purchase history on thesims3.com. This is a Sims 3 Store Claiming issue. Please re-claim in the store or provide the Sims3Pack downloads.

Hello, this happened to me after buying the world bundle and roaring heights. I contacted EA and they are having this issue for everyone buying them. They're not sure when it will be fix, but I managed to complain enough to get a refund.

Hello, Thank you very much for the message. I don't like to hear it, but I've heard about this problem before. Hopefully it will be fixed soon. It's been a long time since it was released....

Same issue as everyone else here code will not redeem. Talked to EA help and they seem to be a bit in denial. Are you sure you used the right code?  LOL what a joke.  I now hate that code because I have had to enter it in so many times.  I told them to come to this forum and notice how many people cannot redeem their codes. They then claim they are working on the problem already and that it is a known issue. Have patience ...they say. 

this is happening to a lot of people right now. i already reached out to support, i dont have a solution but im hoping the more we actually talk about it, maybe something will be done.
