did you try switching browsers if it could be a browser issue if using chrome opera or safari try switching to IE or firefox and or make sur enothing is blocking the connection firewall and or anti virus
Hi, well I only use Firefox as my browser and I all ready tried with all my security software turned off still no good, but I have managed to reinstall some of my old cc files, but these are only package files.
And I have found that the game is very sluggish and freeze up a lot since I installed them, which is making me think that there may be some sort of code imbedded with-in the game’s core to try and stop use from using the old package files instead of the newer pack files. If my memory is right I think there was some sort of problem back with Sims 2, that was very similar to this!

Hi, yes I have tried doing that and I have also tried removing the game installed, all to avail. I have found a tool which unpacks pack files but I only use it on a small amount of pack files as the download folder is 16.6 GB with 5,774 files and my game is slow and sluggish enough at the moment, can you imagine putting over 16 GB of files in to it, it would take hours to load and I might not even be able to play because the lag would be to long.
I did try last to download just two Sims from the exchange, but it would not even do that, so I am thinking of removing the game and doing a full reinstall up to the second to lats game and the try to install all my pack files and the install the latest exp pack and update it to 1.67.
