(MAC) Black screen without a cursor

I just got the patch 1.66 and my sims 3 has been acting weird. It saids its version 1.66.2.024017,when I try installing something or uninstalling it comes up with a black screen and comes up with an ...

Don't worry about it - it's just a thread where helpers discuss problems and help each other out. I think Rum forgot to mention your post, so I'll put it there so our MAC helper can take a look.
