Try hitting cmd-return and see if the game will go into windowed mode, then force it to quit via the dock or Apple menu.
i got it into wondowed mode but it does not want to quit :/
Go to the Apple icon in the top left hand corner of your screen. From there choose "Force Quit". This will open a menu showing everything currently running. If the game shows there, select it and choose to force it to quit. Any luck now?
