My Mac spontaneously restart, turn off!

12 Go 1333 MHz DDR3
Mac OS X 10.6.8
AMD Radeon HD 6770M
VRAM : 512 Mo
Not only a Sims 3 problem, it also happens when I watch a video on full screen or playing other games.
I may have a problem since MacOs 10.6.8 update!? I'm lost…
if I have the courage and if I have enough space on an external drive for my backups, I think I'm going to format my drive and reinstall a Mac Os sytem!?

but didn't fix it
