Make EA App Integrate With Sims 3 Store

I ended up purchasing Dragon Valley Gold Edition on the EA app, 4 months ago or so. When I logged into my sims 3 account online it doesn't show that I have purchased this game/addon. But it says I purchased it on EA App.

Please make the Sims 3 Store and EA App sync together so that if we purchase games on the EA App Store that they will automatically register on the Sims 3 store website.

I am upset that I wasted money on the Gold Edition pack. The live agent online and they said they can’t help me because I used the code product code already, which I haven't. It is being used in the EA App when it should automatically sync with Sims 3 Store.

I feel like EA should have told users that before purchasing the games it in the EA App because its useless, free money grab and we can't play the games we purchased.

  • DesignerFlyGirl  I personally did not because I bought the worlds when Origin was still around and had no issue registering the codes I received.  This only became a major problem once the EA App was introduced, although there was an occasional nonworking code before that.

  • DesignerFlyGirl  Try to contact EA customer support again, and this time, link them this thread:

Say that this is what happened to you: that you couldn't register the world on the Store site because it's showing as already used, and you want a refund.  Even though you're outside the refund window, you may be able to convince them to help since you were never able to use the product.

As always, live chat is your best bet; email is much harder to work with.

As for integrating the EA App and the Sims 3 Store, I would guess that's never going to happen.  The Store is held together with duct tape and spit and goes down frequently; it may not have had any real work done in a decade.  Building a bridge to the much newer EA App seems like a lot more work than anyone wants to do, and there's already a workaround: buy the content from the Sims 3 website and register it only on the Store site, leaving the EA App out of it entirely.
