missing Items

Question

I am missing a lot of items. What can I do to fix this? -&nbsp; i also can't go to other town I wasn't sure if I uninstalled and reinstall that it would take away my progress&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;

@marebu&nbsp; Which items are missing?&nbsp; Are all of your expansion and stuff packs loading, or are some of those missing too?&nbsp; The easiest way to tell is to go into Buy mode and click the button to filter by pack.&nbsp; It's on the right side of the user interface, and any pack that's loaded will be listed there.&nbsp; Don't save your progress with the items missing, or start a new save to test.

As for going to another town, do you mean sending your sim to travel, or using the in-game Move function to move to a new town, or starting a new save?

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game shouldn't delete your saves or other user data, but it's best to back up that data anyway.&nbsp; It's all in the Sims 3 folder inside Documents &gt; Electronic Arts.
