Moved Sims 3 Folder to Desktop and Lost all Saves

My game kept crashing while launching (idk if its a crash but it would stall right after launch) so I moved The Sims 3 Folder out of Documents and into a new folder on my desktop. The game starts up just fine now, but all my saves and installed content are gone. However the saved files are still there under CurrentGame.sims3.

How can I get my saves back?

I have a mac and am not computer savy pls advise

  • If you have any mods installed in game, I recommend checking all mods are compatible with your game patch version

Point is, empty this folder, or just delete it, if there's anything inside when you do NOT have the game open.
