My Sims 3 game does not want to save and keeps crashing every 15 minutes.

This problem has been around for a very  long time now, and still no solution has been brought forth. I am starting to wonder if you will ever get this problem fixed. It is the error code 12 issue.  ...

I have the same problem with the crashing but mine has been doing it within five minutes of playing the game. I can't even save the game without getting the error screen or it crashing. Please just solve this problem and soon!!!!!!
