My Sims 3 game keeps freezing and crashing during Create-a-sim!

I don't have any cc, I just installed the games, I updated my graphics card based on that link. The game runs fine as long as I am not in create a sim. When I'm there some off the screens won't work and are black, and I can not make selections. Then after creating the first sims it freezes. Something else weird that I noticed is the fact that under the laundry section in buy mode, one of the hampers is missing. It is the hamper that the game first had, instead of the university one. I am going to unstinall my games and then reinstall them.

      Are you willing to try a third party tool ? There's a tool called crash log analyzer (just google). It's not a magic tool that can stop the crashes but it can give an indication to where the error lies. Just copy the errors you get to the clipboard and post them here. This tool is not supported by EA so you'll be using it at your own risk
