@Dasiapasiaa Is Sims 3 working right now? It sounds like it might be since you're saying your older saves have vanished, but I want to make sure. Please also let me know whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it. OneDrive could have eaten your saves, so it's worth checking onedrive.com, both My Files and the Recycle Bin.
For Sims 4, I'd suggest uninstalling the EA App and then using a cleaner tool like Piriform's CCleaner (the free version is fine) to clean out all leftover files from the App and Sims 4. Reinstall the App and create a new folder into which you'll install Sims 4. The folder should be on the root level of the drive of your choice, for example C:\Games is fine, but not C:\Program Files\Games.
Hey! My sims 3 game is kinda working I got some mods and stuff its definitely lagging and takes about 6 minutes to stop freezing (Yes I kept timing it lol.) Onedrive is on my computer but I never touch it because I dont wanna mess anything up on there.
I did uninstall sims 4 but I will try the cleaner and let ya know how it goes.
I don't know if this is any help but I do own an Asus Laptop and its supported by windows 11!
@Dasiapasiaa For Sims 3, please test a new save in Sunset Valley with no mods or custom content, just to set a baseline for performance. If you don't want to manually uninstall everything, you can simply rename the Sims 3 folder in Documents > Electronic Arts. This contains all your user data (saves, saved households and builds, etc.), and renaming the folder will prevent the game from reading it. So you can test with none of that content, then restore the original name later when you're ready.

Game works perfectly fine without the mods, loads up slower but- I can still play without it freezing.
