need help installing the sims 3 starter pack
i am trying to install the disk from the sims 3 starter pack but the origin installer pops up and it will not let me in stall the game it says that i am offline but im not when i try to login please help

Raiden261412 You'll need to use the EA App to manage your install, as Origin for Windows was sunset a few years ago. You'll need to have registered the game to your account or be able to do so now; the EA App won't let you play without that. And if Sims 3 is registered, you can simply download it from your App library without using the discs at all. This has the advantage of giving you the latest update rather than your needing to try to patch it afterwards.
