need to add new people to existing neighborhood
I have been playing a family in Sims 3 (Fast Lane & High End Loft installed on a PC) and the kids grew up into adults. They need dates, but I cannot find any in town. So, I thought I would create a few new people and move them into the neighborhood. I choose the plot next to the family, designed the sim I wanted and built the house, but my other family isn't there. It's like when I created the new sim it created a new version of the same town rather than let me put my new sim into the existing game. Perhaps I did something wrong, but isn't there a way to create a sim that I can make interact with my other family in my existing town?
are your own sims still in the house next door ? if they are then in edit town click on the house they live in use the switch to this household to get your family back then back to edit town the sim in your libiary that you made click on that sim then place in whatever house you choose
