New to Island Paradise - Can't Build Houseboat - No Floor Shows Up
Just bought IP, so maybe it's something I'm doing/not doing right but.....I can get everything ready - can even choose the size of the boat, but when I go to build on it, it shows the area where the boat would be but it won't let me build on it. I get the "You can't intersect water".? It doesn't show flooring where the boat's supposed to go - just a yellow rectangle.
I can't put flooring down, can't put a foundation or deck down or anything.
Am I missing a step? All the videos I've watched show a wood decking that you build on but I don't have that.

@gwenleah It looks like the houseboat platform might already have flooring, only showing in low resolution. But it looks like the problem is that you tried to build on the lot that holds the dock, not the houseboat itself. The houseboat should have its own icon in Edit Town, one for a blank residential lot rather than the park bench icon for a community lot that would correspond to the lot with the dock.
