@xolovepink22 could you answer the following questions please? 🙂
- What's your operating system?
- Does the launcher start?
- Are you getting any error messages?
- How far do you get, try to describe what happens in as much details as possible (without getting too lenghty)
- Do all installed games show up in the Origin client?
- Which base game version do you have: http://sims3.crinrict.com/en/2014/02/sims-3-base-game-versions.html
- Which Security Software are you using (Firewall, Antivirus)?
- Do you have the disc or download version or a mix?
- Do you have any files with xctp in your documents\electronicarts\thesims3\ folder ? (those are crash logs)?

-Operating system is Windows 8.1
-The launcher DOES start
-I'm not getting any error messages. A message just pops up that says an unknown error occured and the game has to be force closed.
-Sometimes it takes not much time at all for this to happen and other times it takes a few minutes
-All games DO show up in the Origin client
-I have base game version 2
-I'm using the Windows/Microsoft preloaded security software that came with my Surface Pro 1 if that's what you mean by security software. It protects me from viruses and stuff.
-I have the disc for the base game and Pets and the download for Seasons.
-I DO have XCTP files
-I will provide my DxDiag in a separate post
