This is a newer pc and windows 7 so I know nothing about updating my sound card :(
Your audio driver appears to be outdated with a listed date of 9/7/2010, but it is also possible that you are using the most recent driver that your system manufacturer is offering. If you feel comfortable attempting an audio driver update, I recommend visiting the website of the system manufacturer of your computer, Hewlett-Packard in this case, to see if there are any available updates for your specific model and setup. Make certain that the date and version number of the driver on the website, is later than the ones highlighted in red and green in this post. If not, then I recommend waiting to see what suggestion/solution that EA will come up with.
In the mean time, you can also check your in-game audio settings in the 'Option' menu under the speaker tab, and try setting your audio quality to 'high' and making sure that you have selected the proper speaker setup for your audio configuration.
*Please note that performing an audio driver update is not a guaranteed fix for the no sound bug. In fact, more often than not, players are experiencing no change after updating their driver. Only for a very small number of people, does it seem to resolve the issue.
