It happened again a minute ago just after I heard a car horn. Maybe that triggered it? My game is completely silent at the moment.
Oh, now I heard the sound of "clicking on an interaction". But I have my game paused at the moment. :?
Edit: The sound came back now, after 6 minutes. Many sound effects were heard at once, car horn, clicks and I think, door closing. Made me jump.
Edit: Same thing again, except this time it started when my sim flushed the toilet. The sound was gone for 6 minutes.
Edit: It happened again five minutes later. This time the sound didn't come back. I waited for 15 minutes, then I quit the game. The game stopped responding when I tried to quit.
Edit: I got a tip to install a mod that silence the bicycle bell and it seems to have worked! I have played for hours now and the sound is fine.
I HATE this. :evil: Can a simguru say something? Are you still working on it?
