one click purchased same item twice - can I get my points back?

I just purchased enough Sims 3 points to buy 3 premium content items, the 2nd one I purchased processed and downloaded twice, so now I don't have enough points to buy the last one.
These packs are about $20 AUD each, is there any way to cancel one of the duplicates and get my points back? I know the store's old and EA doesn't really support it anymore (although they're happy to take our money for it), but it shouldn't let us purchase the same item more than once, let alone do it for us.
This isn't the first time the store's let me buy the same thing twice, it's just the first time it's annoyed me enough to do anything about it.

@tishw The last I heard, EA customer support could in fact restore points from an accidental double purchase. It has been a while though. You'll need to contact support and talk to a real person, in real time, to get help. If you don't see the live chat option, try this link, which works for me:

Or you can try using the site without signing in. Some categories allow you to proceed without an active login, and those tend to offer live chat as an option.
