Online login is currently unavailable origin

Hi there,

I've successfully installed Origin on my laptop, however, since installing, I am unable to log on.  I get the message 'online login is currently unavailable origin'.  I have logged on several times already on the website, I've checked that my connection is 100%.  I'm really anxious to get stuck into my SIMS game.  please help!
