thats the way the game plays from the newest installed released game (they combine for playing ) generations is the newest one you installed so your game will play from that one
Should there be an option I have to click? I am trying to play now and it is still generations
your game world adventures if installed combines with the generations one also world adventures is what is known as a sub hood you travel there for about 3 sims days to start with and return home for playing to send your sim off on an adventure to china,egypt or france have the sim use the phone-option something like real estate and travel choose travel select the country in the you want to go to in the menu that will appear and if you want another sim to travel with you
TIP before using the phone to send the sim off save your game then save it again with the save as new name in case something goes wrong then you will have the original save and can try again also when your sim gets back do the same thing again save the game
