Origin Won't Launch
Hi Guys! So just after I had the problem with sims 3 not letting me log in, origin decides to add in on the fun by not launching ☹️ I have had this problem before and successfully fixed it, but for some reason I can not get it to launch! I have spent at least 3 hours searching up different ways to get it to launch, I have tried all the different suggestions on this Answer HQ, and even reinstalled the whole program, but it is literally being stubborn! I am just curious whether sims 3 cc could be the reason because it was working fine before I downloaded some sims and clothing off of TSR, but I don't seem to have this problem on my laptop after downloading the same sims ect. And yes, I have really tried everything! I have gone into a live chat last night... and accidentally exited when going through my task manager (sorry) but the person helping gave me three suggestions, yet none of them worked out. Help is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Sorry to hear that you have run into issues with Origin.
I doubt that these issue are caused by Sims 3 CC, so there are some general Origin troubleshooting steps I would like you to try. You may have done some of this before, but could you try these again in this order (I am assuming you are on Windows PC, if not please let us know):
- Manually uninstall Origin
- Do a Clean Boot
- Download a fresh Origin setup file and when starting the installation, make sure to run it as Administrator
- Add firewall/antivirus exceptions for Origin
- Try starting Origin
