OSX Lion and TS3 - Patch released, fixes graphics issue, causes problems with Town Life, GURUS?

If nothing is done i guess we all have to go back to Snow Leopard. I have been on Live Chat to different EA people all day and am getting the same answer and even getting the same instructions which I know don't work. and when I ask if they are going to release an update they always say they want to re direct me to senior staff and then im sat waiting for well over half an hour for an advisor
